Anna McVay Lisenbey

Anna Marie McVay Lisenbey of Benton, Ark., was born Sept. 4, 1940 in Russellville to the late George McVay and Viverine Moore McVay. She died March 5, 2016, in Saline Memorial Hospital in Benton at the age of 60.

Mrs. Lisenbey was a member of Junet Pentecostal Church in Sheridan, a self-employed care giver and was preceded in death by a brother, Charles McVay.

Survivors are a son: Stacy Lisenbey of Plainview; daughters: Lee Ann Lisenbey Crutchfield of Sheridan; and Lana Lisenbey Erb of Yokota, Japan; a brother: David McVay of Redfield; sisters: Phyllis McVay of Russellville, and Katie Anderson of Pine Bluff; an aunt: Gladys Crow of Searcy; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services were held March 7 at 10 a.m. in the Buie Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Al Michael officiating. Burial was in Ringer Cemetery in Centerville.

Pallbearers were: Brooks Lisenbey, Steele, Nicholas Steele, Jeff Lisenbey, James Alvis Lisenbey and Lloyd Schnaekel.
