Summer reading program kicks off
The summer reading program "Catch the Reading Bug" at the Grant County Library began this week and ends on July 23. The program is for children of all ages. There will be weekly giveaways for each child and a drawing for prizes. Each child will receive a book log to record the books they read.

Wednesday, June 11, 10 a.m. Reading and crafts, make a bird house
Wednesday, June 18, 10 a.m. Nature program by Delta Rivers Nature Center
Wednesday, June 25, 10 a.m. Annual Pet Show, bring your pet and show him off, bring your own chair
Wednesday, July 2, 10 a.m. Reading and patriotic craft
Wednesday, July 9, 10 a.m. The Balloon Man, magic and balloons
Wednesday, July 16, 10 a.m. You can eat a bug with Jason Parrie from DeGray State Park
Wednesday, July 23, 10 a.m. Great fun and music with Brian and Terry Kinder, reading certificates will be awarded with prizes and refreshments
