Subscriptions

The Sheridan Headlight offers two methods of receiving the paper, a mail subscription where you'll receive a copy of the newspaper in your mailbox each week and an electronic version where you'll receive access to the secure area and be able to read the electronic version of the paper posted on the website. Mail subscriptions do not entitle you to receive access to the electronic version of the newspaper and vice versa. If you want both versions you have to purchase each type of subscription separately

Mail Subscriptions

We're mailed weekly upon publication of the paper. Please see the price schedule below to determine the cost of your subscription, based on your location. If you would like to receive your paper every Wednesday electronically, please see our electronic version subscription that is available.

Please note that our online payment system includes a very small fee in our subscription rate to cover costs of processing online payments. This fee has been added into the cost and the final rate you will pay is listed below.

Full Electronic Version Subscription

We're pleased to offer the full version of our weekly issue for The Sheridan Headlight to subscribers who wish to receive their version electronically. The Electronic version is typically online by Wednesday morning about the same time the papers are just hitting the news racks!!

Why subscribe electronically?

The online edition is available to you instantly from the time it is put on the server where the mailed version is dependant on the speed of the postal service.
You save money! Regardless of where you live, online subscriptions are only $22 per year. For residents who live outside Grant County, that's a big savings over our mail version.
It's environmentally-friendly. There's no newspaper to waste/recycle!

You MUST have the proper software and internet connection in order to subscribe online. You should have a high-speed connection (dial-up connections will be slow but are permitted. You are warned, however, that with dial-up internet, these pages can take a long time to load). You will also need Adobe Acrobat Reader. This is a free program available from Adobe (www.adobe.com). You can click on the icon below to get your free copy of this program from the Adobe website.

Adobe Reader is required for the electronic version. You very likely already have this software on your machine as most applications require it for their user manuals. Most computer OEMs are shipping their systems with this software already installed.
